This year annual fundraiser at the Waverley Bridge Club had thirty pairs of enthusiastic players turn out on the first Saturday in March. We are delighted to report that the event raised more than $3,000 for JMB Foundation.
It’s the sixth year WBC has organised this special event, and we thank everyone for their efforts – in particular, Mary Alson, the manager of the Club who champions our cause every year, and the kitchen staff who worked tirelessly in the kitchen and on the BBQ to provide much-appreciated refreshment throughout the day. Very special thanks to the Waverley Bridge Club committee and volunteers, who have given us so much of their time and support over the years.
Also, big congratulations to Stan Klofa and Dee Harley who won the event. Well done.
