In 2026, and on eve of James’ 40th birthday, we are targeting a record number of JMB entrants. With the support of the event organisers, IMG, the Foundation has been able to arrange priority entries for JMB runners/walkers. This means that even though some events are already sold-out, JMB runners/walkers will still be able to gain an entry. The arrangement requires the Foundation to submit names, email addresses, and the desired event (e.g., full-marathon, half-marathon, 10k, 5k) by 2 March. Once these details have been submitted, IMG will email individuals with details on how to enter and pay their entry fee. Note that all participants entered under the JMB name will receive our custom light blue JMB running shirt from the Foundation.
So over to you. Let’s turn the Marathon festival into a sea of light blue on October 11!
