We were sad to bid farewell to the JMB Foundation’s founding Chair, Helen Sykes, in December 2015, after nine years of unflagging commitment and dedication to JMB. Helen has been a driving force for the Foundation since day one, and her efforts have been critical, not only to the establishment of JMB, but also to its growth and its ability to fulfil its purpose of assisting James and his family, and other young Australians living with an ABI.
We are fortunate to have had Helen’s leadership and guidance for so long, and we know all our supporters will join us in thanking her most sincerely for her truly outstanding efforts.
We are immensely grateful to Helen for what she has achieved, and we wish her all the very best as she hands over the reins to Dianne Rule, who, together with the JMB Foundation Board and members, will endeavour to maintain the standard of excellence that Helen has fostered from the outset. A most heartfelt thank you to you, Helen.
