Carey Market Day Stall Fundraiser

Each year, Carey Baptist Grammar Grade 5 students spend a term making gifts to sell at their big Market Stall day.  It’s part of a unit learning about what’s involved in operating a successful business, along with researching and developing products that can be upcycled and sold.  Amazingly, they’ve raised several thousand dollars again this year, and we’re grateful that JMB Foundation have been the beneficiary of the proceeds of these sales.

One student, Hugh McDonald, made a special pillow for James, who always uses a pillow under his right hand to protect it.  Although James was unable to attend this year, Robin reports that he was very happy with it, and also to hear about the fabulous effort the students and staff had made to raise funds.
